The new Buzzwords challenge has just kicked off in Cookie Jam, and it looks like we're facing some tricky clues right from the beginning. After cracking “Springboard, platform, synchronized,” it’s time to solve “Small boat you paddle.” If you're stuck and need a hand, just scroll down to find the correct answer.
I think the previous Buzzword was tougher, but I have to admit, this one had me racking my brain for quite a while too:
A canoe is a simple, narrow boat that’s open on top and usually pointed at both ends. You paddle it with one or two people using single-bladed paddles. Unlike kayaks, they don’t have a covered top, so you’re more open to the fresh air while you paddle.
Canoes have been used for thousands of years, some of the earliest canoes date back over 10,000 years. They were essential for transportation and fishing for many indigenous cultures around the world.
Traditional canoes were often carved from a single tree trunk, especially by Native American tribes. They are really light compared to other boats, which makes them easy to carry over land between waterways.
Canoeing is also a competitive sport in the Olympics, with different events like sprint and slalom racing. The longest canoe race in the world is the Hiawatha Traditional Canoe Challenge held in Michigan, covering about 100 miles.
Don’t forget to check out our other Cookie Jam guides. We cover almost every Buzzword each week, including clues like “Conductors use [blank] to direct orchestras,” and many more.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
