Struggling to figure this one out on your own? Don’t worry, answer to “Weathered bottles on the shore” in Cookie Jam is here.
Another weekend means new Buzzwords in Cookie Jam. The summer theme continues – we recently cracked clues like “Hard gift from the ocean,” “Travel in a car or a RV,” “[blank] in the pool, sometimes at people,” and “Drink hot drinks in these at home.” Okay, maybe that last one didn’t quite fit the topic, but we’re back on track now with a summery new hint: “Weathered bottles on the shore.” So if you’re having trouble with this one, here’s the answer.
This one can be a bit tricky since the correct form is two separate words. However, in casual settings like social media or games, it’s often written as a single word:
But what is seaglass anyway? It's made from pieces of broken glass that have been naturally worn down by the ocean over time. These fragments often come from bottles, jars, or other glass items that end up in the sea. The constant motion of waves, sand, and saltwater smooths and frosts the sharp edges, giving sea glass its characteristic rounded shape and cloudy, matte finish.
People often collect sea glass for its beauty. It’s popular for use in jewelry, various crafts, or as decorative pieces in homes and art projects. Common colors include green, brown, and white, while rarer shades like blue, red, or purple are especially prized.
If you’re stuck on any hints, don’t forget to check out our other Cookie Jam guides. We cover weekly Buzzwords like “Smoky smells and outdoor feasts,” and plenty more.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
