Today we found out that Marvel's Avengers will not be appearing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S this year.
Today, developers from Crystal Dynamics shared their plans for their latest game, Marvel's Avengers. In addition to promises to introduce features such as a tagging system and the ability to reset the campaign mode or improve the overall performance of the game, it was also announced that the title will not be released on next-gen consoles (i.e. PlayStation 5 and Xboxes Series X/S) until next year, slightly later than initially anticipated. The decision is due to the desire to provide the players with a truly "next-gen" gameplay.
It is also worth noting that the devs decided to reward the players who decided to play Marvel's Avengers. Starting from October 22, a digital thank-you bundle will be handed out with valuable items such as Credits, Upgrade Modules or DNA Keys. The gift will be available for reclamation until November 5.
