In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II you can find safes that hide useful items inside. In this guide you will learn how to open them and what is inside.
Although the official release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will take place on October 28, players who pre-ordered the game already have access to it. In the game, you can find safes that hide special rewards inside. In this guide you will learn where they are located, how to open them and what is inside.
Safe 1 - El Sin Nombre
The first safe can be found by completing the El Sin Nombre quest. It is located in Diego's room, and the clue to opening it can be spotted on one of the portraits. After opening the safe with the code 02-02-19, you will receive a Lockwood 300 Shotgun and a Plate Carrier.
Safe 2 and 3 - Alone
Two more safes can be found during the Alone mission.
The second safe is located in the room next to the dying man. You will need a blade to open the door. The clue for the code is on the calendar, and the code itself is 10-10-80. Inside will be a Throwing Knife and the .50 GS Handgun.
The last safe is located later in the mission and is located in the garage.
The clue for the last safe can be found on the PC. The code itself, on the other hand, is 37-60-90, and after opening it you will receive a Crossbow.
The safes are worth opening not only to obtain the items inside them, but also because after looting all three of them a rare achievement will be awarded called "Gentleman Thief," which, at the time of writing this guide, has been earned only by 0.5% of players on Steam.
