Naraka: Bladepoint Launches on PC - Thousands of Players on Servers

Today, the full version of Naraka: Bladepoint, an online TPP action game focusing on melee combat, was released on PC. The title enjoys considerable popularity - at the hottest moment, more than 70 thousand people were playing the game.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Today, Naraka: Bladepoint launched on PC;
  2. The game enjoys considerable interest from players. Soon after the launch, a whole lot of them appeared on servers;
  3. The game is also expected to come to various consoles, including PlayStation 5. The release date of these versions is not known so far.

Fans of online action games, Far Eastern vibes and spectacular melee clashes should have something to do in the coming days. That's because Naraka: Bladepoint from studio 24 Entertainment debuted on PC today and it combines all three elements. The basic version of the title can be purchased on Steam for $19.99. More expensive editions - Deluxe, Asura and Ultimate - are also available, including additional outfits or weapon models.

What is the game all about in Naraka: Bladepoint? In a nutshell - eliminating opponents controlled by other players in battle royale formula (i.e. like in games such as Playerunkown's Battlegrounds or Fortnite), which is greatly helped by an extensive system of parkour acrobatics and a rope with a hook to reach inaccessible places. While it sounds simple, it looks very impressive. This turned out to be the key to success, as the title aroused great interest even before its release. The demo, released in June, conquered Steam and catapulted the game to the top of the platform's bestsellers. This bore fruit today, on the day of release. According to data from SteamDB, at the time of writing these words Naraka: Bladepoint can boast an activity record of 70 thousand people.

Unfortunately, the success in terms of the number of players did not entail particularly enthusiastic reviews. On Steam 68% of over 2 thousand opinions about the game are positive. What does it result from? Well, it turned out that Chinese players got their own servers, which have locks, and the progress from them does not transfer to other servers. So they decided to actively express their dissatisfaction.

Finally, we remind you that Naraka: Bladepoint is also heading for consoles, including PlayStation 5. The debut date of these versions is not known so far.
