Viewers Impressed With American Nightmare. Another Good Crime Doc on Netflix
A new documentary series, American Nightmare, has been available on Netflix since yesterday. The production was immediately met with great acclaim from viewers, who praised the series on social media.
Yesterday, namely on January 17, a new documentary miniseries premiered on Netflix. American Nightmare tells the story of two people, Aaron Quinn and Denise Huskins, accused of hoaxing the kidnapping of a woman. The guy reported the issue and drew attention to himself, making the authorities suspect him of being the culprit. The search ended when Huskins suddenly appeared almost 400 miles away from the place of supposed abduction.
The mysterious story and script combined with interviews led to the creation of an engaging documentary, which is currently highly praised by viewers. On Rotten Tomatoes, as many as 100% of users gave a positive rating, and discussions also ensued on Twitter and Reddit, where viewers exchange their observations.

Some viewers commented on IMDb that the documentary is best proof that the uniformed services should not be trusted or that they should even be abolished. Commentators also reflected that, just like investigators prematurely drawing their own conclusions, they completely disbelieved the victims of the event.
American Nightmare consists of three episodes and all of them are available on Netflix right now. With each of them, the whole plot is slowly developed and looking at the comments, the viewers are just as shocked by the truth as the investigating officer were.
