For some time now we have knownthat People Can Fly, studio known for Outriders, is developing a big-budget game for Microsoft. Now we've learned a little more about it thanks to new job offers posted by the team.

  1. It is most likely to be an RPG, as the studio is looking for people who are familiar with and passionate about the genre.
  2. The game is being developed on the Unreal Engine.
  3. People Can Fly is currently looking for forty employees. The studio's European and American teams are working together on the project.

People Can Fly signed a development and publishing agreement with Microsoft this June. This, plus the fact that the studio is looking for forty new employees, most likely means that the project is still in the early stages of work.

It is worth mentioning that, according to previous reports, the game is codenamed Project Maverick and is based on an existing brand owned by Microsoft. The budget written in the agreement between the companies is $30-50 million. This is not the only game People Can Fly is currently working on. The team intends to release as many as six games over the next four years.

Recall that the studio's latest offering is the network action game Outriders, which was released in 2021 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and last year received a major expansion titled Worldslayer.
