NFS Unbound Launches; How Was It Received?

The launch of Need for Speed Unbound takes place today. The game was very much liked by the players. What do the fans praise it for?

Need for Speed Unbound met with a mixed reception from gamers after the release of the first information about the game. Some of the people praised the bold approach towards the distinctive visuals, while others thought that the latest racing game in the iconic series looked too cartoonish. After today's release of Unbound all indications are, that the game is good, as evidenced by numerous fan reviews.

Successful launch of Need for Speed Unbound

Need for Speed Unbound is receiving the first feedback from users. At the time of writing this text on Steam the game boasts 85% positive reviews. On Metacritic there are no texts of industry critics for the time being, but those from fans of the brand are numerous. The PlayStation 5 version received a rating of 7.8/10..

The reviews do not lack comparisons to NFS Heat, which was mentioned even before the release, but in general it can be seen that players appreciate the game, praising, among other things, a balanced progression system, a challenging difficulty level or a sizable array of cars to choose from. To tone the enthusiasm down a bit, the users mention some flaws as well, for example soundtrack or too much similarity to the aforementioned NFS Heat.

"The best installment after NFS Hot Pursuit. It's actually Heat 2.0, but improved in every way," wrote Javielo46

"Simply good fun. Great graphics, unique art style, cars are great," praises Vegard2048

"The game is not perfect, but Criterion has put this series on the right track," concludes Max_Lazy_10

Emotions are not limited to the players. Recently we wrote how before the game's release the person responsible for running the game's Twitter profile responded to players' comments in a rather uncultured manner.
