Orin the Red is one of the main antagonists in BG3. Sooner or later you will have to fight her in the 3rd act of the game. After the introduction of update 5, after defeating Orin you can take the Mutilated Carapace from her and put it on your character.

The outfit guarantees:

1. Armour Class 1
2. Faceless Masquerade : You gain Advantage on Deception Checks and Persuasion Checks.
3. Formless Slaughter: +1 to Attack and Damage rolls while shapeshifting or disguised.

How to defeat Orin in BG3

Fighting Orin is considered quite difficult, but you can make it easier for yourself if you focus on defeating your opponent's sidekicks first. If you have Karlach or Lae'zel on your party, you can focus Orin's attention on one of them. Due to their high defense and plenty of life points, both of these characters will endure many attacks. Shadowheart, on the other hand, is great at healing team members and applying buffs.
