Nubs Arena on consoles? Xbox, PS5, Switch ports explained

Yesterday, the multiplayer action game Nubs! Arena was released. For the first 24 hours, the game was free, so everyone could add it to the library. Unfortunately, console players were not able to enjoy the giveaway. Why? The answer is simple – the game was released only on PC. So, what about PS5, Xbox and Switch ports?

Are you a console gamer and want to play Nubs! Arena? Well, I don’t have good news for you. Like I mentioned earlier, the game is available only on PC right now. However, it’s possible that the situation will change in the future. In the FAQ posted on the Steam Forum, developers mentioned that they are considering ports to other platforms.

So, possibly, if the game will be popular enough, it will be released on other platforms. However, there is still the question of which platforms it could end up on. Of course, the highest chances are that it will be released on the current generation of consoles. So, we are talking about PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and probably Switch 2. Switch 1 may also receive a port. After all, Nintendo still supports this platform.

However, the chances that the Nubs! Arena will be released on PS4 and Xbox One are notably lower. This doesn't mean that there is no hope. Despite their age and absence from the official distribution, new games are still coming out for these devices.

If you have PC, you can try launching Nubs Arena on it. This game has a really low minimum system requirement. So, it should work even on older computers.
