Nvidia reported record gaming revenue. The Data Center and Professional Visualization division also delivered outstanding results.
Nvidia shared its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2022 (ended on January 31).
The Gaming and Professional Visualization divisions, as well as the Data Center, achieved record revenues on both quarterly and annual basis.
In the fourth quarter of last fiscal year, the company's revenue increased 53% year-over-year. Total annual revenue was a record $26.9 billion.
Revenue for the company's gaming division alone in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 was up 37% from a year ago and totaled $3.42 billion. For the full 2022 fiscal year, revenue increased 61% to reach $12.46 billion.
The company made a number of investments in the gaming sector during the last quarter of fiscal year 2022.
The US company also announced a partnership with AT&T and Samsung, offering GeForce Now service to their customers.
So far, in the GPU market Nvidia competes only with AMD. However, we are all waiting for a response from Intel, which has been preparing to release its own GPUs for quite some time.
