One Star Citizen player accidentally opened the vault. Now we can all admire the view
Someone got access to the dev store in Star Citizen and shared it with the rest of us. Just scrolling through everything is a wild ride on its own.

Imagine logging into your Roberts Space Industries account for your usual daily browse, just expecting to window-shop some overpriced ships. But instead of the regular lineup of shiny, wallet-draining gears, paints and upgrades for Star Citizen, you stumble on things you’re not supposed to see. Looks like someone’s account got marked as a Developer’s and we couldn’t be happier about it.
A surprise peek inside Star Citizen’s dev store
Zer0Gravity42 logged into the pledge store just for the typical browsing sesh and ended up seeing almost every ship, gear, and bonus – past and present, and even items that aren’t meant to be there yet. Considering Star Citizen has been in development forever, that must have been one wild trip down memory lane.
A lot of ships were labeled as “TEST,” “private reserve,” or even “do not use,” and since there was no option to buy any of them, all that was left to do was scrolling through and share it with the community. At least it offered a fun little distraction from Cloud Imperium Games’ recent questionable monetization moves that seem to be heading toward pay-to-win territory.
Naturally, he had to submit a support ticket, since it also broke the store for him entirely and made it unusable. Now it’s just a waiting game to see when it gets sorted out. If this account were part of the Concierge club, maybe it’d be resolved right away, but these days, even VIPs have to wait for their turn.
