Onimusha: Way of the Sword is one of the games shown at this year's Summer Game Fest. Capcom showcased a new gameplay trailer from its upcoming slasher.
Capcom did not miss this year's Summer Game Fest. A Japanese publisher used this event to reveal a new gameplay trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. We are talking about the fifth main installment of their cult slasher series, which is heading to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
As you can probably guess, the video below is mainly about checking out the combat system and seeing the variety of enemies we'll have to face. The devs showed regular opponents and bosses, clashes with whom will test our agility and reflexes.
Although Onimusha: Way of the Sword belongs to a long-standing series, knowing the cycle won't be necessary. During the game, we will end up in a fantastic version of Kyoto from the Edo period, dominated by Genma - creatures from the underworld. And with them we'll have to fight.
