Onslaught - New Expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic

The 2011 MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic will get the seventh large expansion, titled Onslaught, this September. The expansion will offer new locations and quests, increased level cap and a new playable race.

At the Star Wars Celebration Convention, BioWare announced their seventh major expansion for the 2011 MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. The expansion entitled Onslaught will debut in September this year. It will be available free of charge to all game subscribers and for a fee to those playing free-to-play. More details about Onslaught will be announced in the coming months.

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Onslaught will focus on the war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, which erupted with new force, plunging the entire galaxy back into chaos. The story will focus on a dense forest planet called Onderon, whose newly elected king will decide on the future of its alliance with the Republic, which could affect the fate of the conflict. During the campaign, we will also visit the Mek-sha space smugglers' base and return to Corellia, desperately defending itself against the Sith forces. The expansion will add a new playable race (Nautolan) and increased character level cap. They will also take part in a new moon raid on Onderon's moon and will be given the chance to acquire new tactical equipment, allowing them to change their character's skills.
