Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Succesful on Steam

Last week on Steam belonged to the RPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and the shooter Battlefield 5. Naraka: Bladepoint, and No Man's Sky and Phasmophobia returned to top 10 bestsellers.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Battlefield 5 tops sales list on Steam;
  2. A stunning debut of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous;
  3. Popularity Naraka: Bladepoint continues to grow;
  4. Big updates for No Man's Sky and Phasmophobia have served their purpose.

As with every Monday, the list of the biggest (by revenue) Steam bestsellers of the previous week was released. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, a sequel to the popular RPG from 2019, scored a great launch. Two different editions of the game took second and fourth place in the list. Unfortunately, Valve did not tell us which edition is which.

New Pathfinder not only sells very well, but is also highly rated by players. On Steam, 82% of user reviews are positive, which the service categorizes as "very positive" reception. In addition, yesterday the title set a new activity record at 45,771 users. This is twice the peak achievement of the previous installment. It is also worth noting that every day since the release, Wrath of the Righteous has improved its results, which bodes well for the game's future.

A big surprise is also the fact that the biggest bestseller of last week was Battlefield V. The success of the DICE's shooter is due, among other things, to an attractive 90% discount. Despite this, it is an impressive achievement, since the list is compiled by revenue, and currently Battlefield V costs only $6.

BF5 also experiences other interesting things. Yesterday, the game set a new activity record on Steam. At the hottest moment on Sunday, 88,344 people played the game simultaneously. This is 12 thousand more than during the free weekend organized at the end of August. It can be seen that those who took advantage of the option to check the title without paying have appreciated Battlefield V, bringing in an influx of new players and sales. There's no doubt that the anticipation for Battlefield 2042 is also adding to the result.

Naraka: Bladepoint is still doing very well. The game defended the third spot on the bestseller list, and yesterday it set a new activity record of 135,756 people. The game launched over a month ago and is becoming more and more popular every week.

It's also worth noting the large number of pre-orders for Tales of Arise (the Japanese RPG took eighth place on the list) and the return of No Man's Sky and Phasmophobia to the top ten. Both titles recently received major updates with new content.
