Platige Image and Movie Games Will Work on Gangster Games
Platige Image and Movie Games have established the Image Games company, which will develop a series of gangster-themed AA games.

Polish companies Platige Image and Movie Games have announced the establishment of a new entity called Image Games. Each of the two companies owns 50% of the shares.
Image Games' operations will base on specialized experience brought into the deal by both founding companies. In the case of Movie Games, it concerns the development and publishing of video games. Platige Image, on the other hand, will offer the facilities needed to produce high-quality animations and the knowledge of working with film and TV series licenses.
Image Games' debut work will be an AA-segment gangster game. This isn't the first time we've heard about this project. Both companies have mentioned it earlier in February.
Image Games has ambitious plans. The company wants to develop at least three gangster games, each set in a different historical period. The games are to meet the visual and narrative standards that Platige Image is known for. Therefore, we can expect a higher production quality than in the case of typical titles published by Movie Games.
Unfortunately, during the announcement of the company's founding, no additional details about these games were revealed. It was only assured that we will soon learn more about these projects.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the establishment of the company is part of Platige Image's development strategy for 2021-2025, which was revealed in January. Apart from developing games, the company also wants to create its own TV series and feature films. However, the studio does not intend to abandon production of short 3D animations, e.g. for commercials. It will continue to be a key area of the company's operations.
