Playing in Tesla, Driving on Autopilot

American UFC player Kevin Lee has uploaded a video to his Instagram, on which he plays Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch console while driving Tesla on autopilot.

Autopilot is a useful feature, but it should not be abused.

Probably most of you have heard about Tesla electric cars, which were developed by one of the biggest technology entrepreneurs - Elon Musk. You also know that Teslas have many useful, modern features, such as the autopilot, which is intended to help you when driving on a straight road (e.g. a motorway). Even if this option is activated, the driver must be sufficiently alert to react appropriately in the event of an emergency. However, some people decided to use the autopilot to play on the console when they don't have to concentrate on driving.

Kevin Lee, an American UFC player, played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch, while his Tesla drove itself. He even put the recording of this situation on his Instagram profile. You can see it here.

Don't try that in a Civic.

Of course, this behavior is irresponsible despite the autopilot being activated. Tesla warns drivers even before they buy the car, because a second is enough to cause a tragic accident while driving. Playing on the console is best left to the passengers, and the driver should focus on what's happening on the road.
