Path of Exile 2 - Diablo's Rival Got First Gameplay [Update: New Video]
At SGF 2023, gamers were able to get their first look at gameplay from Path of Exile 2. The footage, though short, whetted the appetite for more.

The audience of this year's Summer Game Fest 2023 had the opportunity to see footage of several upcoming titles. One of them was competitor to Diablo IV - Path of Exile 2. Admittedly, the creators were not eager to reveal any new information about the hack'n'slash, but they can be forgiven, as they provided us with a a short video showing gameplay in PoE2. You can watch it below.
We have to admit that the game looks as dark and atmospheric - as well as spectacular - as the latest installment of Diablo. Which of the titles will appeal to players more? That remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the battle of action RPGs promises to be extremely fierce.
Let's add that more information on Path of Exile 2 will be known in July. For the moment, however, the above gameplay must suffice.
Path of Exile 2 has come a long way. Recall that the game was announced back in 2019. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic effectively swamked work on the title.
PoE2 will debut on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.. The game's release date is not yet known. Like the first game, it will be a title made available in a F2P game with microtransactions.
