Miss Delight in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 Evil is a new antagonist. At the same time she is quite strange and by that interesting.
Poppy Playtime is an episodic horror which received the newest part yesterday. Chapter 3 is here and introduces some new characters. For example, we meet mysterious Ollie who helps us (maybe), but at the same time new opponents. Let’s talk about Miss Delight, a very strange teacher.

As you may know (or not) Miss Delight used to be a teacher who worked at Playcare. Her major field of expertise was anatomy. We “meet” her in three ways – as a cardboard cutout, which shows us her original shape, a voice, and in the scarry, twisted physical version.
Is it strongly hinted that Miss Delight has eaten teachers and probably children who were with her to survive. This experience has changed her, and she has become the antagonist we know from Chapter 3. However, from the VHS, we can learn that there are more Miss Delights. We don’t know what happened to them.
Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 – Miss Delight as Strange Antagonist
Miss Delight is not a regular antagonist, though. She seems to be divided between her evil and good side. It is evident, when we take into consideration the fact that she is warning the protagonist and tells him to run away during the first confrontation. It is later, when we do not listen, that she tries to kill us.
The chase is also quite unusual, as Miss Delight does not move when we look at her when she is in the bright light, as if she gives us a chance or simply plays with the player. What is more, this is the only antagonist pursuit in the series (so far), in which we have to solve a puzzle. We will see if it will be a new feature in the future chapters.
