Season 1 debuted in 2021, and the premiere of season 2 is still ahead of us. When exactly can we expect it? Netflix has only revealed that it’ll happen this year. The announcement of the new episodes was included in the trailer of the new movies and TV shows upcoming in 2024. The excerpt regarding Squid Game can be seen below.
In new episodes, Gi-Hun will once again have to take part in a dangerous game in order to end it at all costs. However, he won't be the only one returning in season 2. Other familiar faces will also appear, as revealed in stills shown by Netflix.
