Impressive One-man Open-world Action Game Gets Demo

South Korean studio In-D presented an impressive gameplay from Project Gray. What deserves admiration is the fact that the game is currently developed by only one person.

Korean development studio In-D has released a video online, showing the effects of work on Project Grey, which is an open-world action adventure game with RPG elements. The 16-minute material takes us to a distant planet and shows the clash between the main character and hostile alien invaders (via DSOG).

We must admit that the above video looks really good. But the biggest admiration is evoked by the fact that all the work - including mechanics, animations or graphics - was done by one person.

Admittedly, In-D did not reveal the graphics engine that the developer used to create the game, but it's hard to resist the impression that it might be Unreal Engine 5.

This, in turn, is the official description of the game's story:

"Project Gray is an open-world action adventure game. The story begins with the appearance of an advanced alien civilization called Grey on the planet Asirma. The player takes on the role of a native who, thanks to the friendly help of the newcomers, gains special abilities, but after discovering their true intentions, makes an attempt to repel them."

In addition, in the description attached to the video we can read that the creator of the demo decided to share it with the intention of drawing the attention of other developers who would like to join the team and help finish this ambitious project.

It's also interesting to note that although the Korean studio has only just started looking for people willing to support the development process, the title of the YouTube video indicates 2023 as the release date. So let's keep our fingers firmly crossed for a positive finale of the work, as the gameplay makes a stunning impression.
