PS5 Firmware 22.01-05.10 Available for Download

PlayStation 5 received a fimware update today. It improves the performance of Sony's console.

Sony has released new firmware for the PlayStation 5.

  1. The update is marked with the number 22.01-05.10.
  2. The update "weighs" about 1 GB.
  3. The new firmware does not bring any new features. The patch notes only contain information that the update improves the console's performance.

It is worth adding that a few days ago Sony surprised everyone by updating the firmware for PS3 and PlayStation Vita. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant surprise. The patch removed the ability to create new user accounts on these hardware platforms. To do this, you need to use the browser on a PC or mobile device.
