Railway Empire 2 Launches - Sequel to Successful Rail Economic Strategy

Today marks the release of Railway Empire 2 - the sequel to 2018's economic strategy game, in which we build and develop our own railroad company. The first part was warmly received by players, so you can expect that the sequel will also provide tons of fun. Gaming Minds Studios is responsible for the production, and the publisher is Kalypso Media.

• Those who do not want to buy the proverbial cat in a bag, will probably be pleased to know that the game is already available as part ofXbox and PC Game Pass.
• The title can also now be purchased on PlayStation Store in two versions: Standard and Deluxe.
• If anyone intends to purchase the game on Microsoft's consoles, can do so now at a reduced price: $44.99 for the basic version (instead of $49.99) and $53.99 for the Deluxe version (instead of $59.99).
• Steam users will have to wait until 7 p.m. CET to be able to purchase the game, when the pre-order period with a 10 percent discount will end.

During the game we play as one of the available characters, and our task is to develop the railroad infrastructure. The game provides us with two large maps covering areas of Europe and the United States. As railroad tycoons, we have to watch over the construction of tracks, maintenance of machines, expansion of stations, as well as preparation of timetables.

Railway Empire 2 debuts today on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S. A release on Nintendo Switch will be available later this year.
