Red Dead Online Glitch Sends Players Flying to Mexico

Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of funny surprises. Now the players have found a new, surprising glitch in RDO, enabling them fly themselves to Mexico, among other places.

One of the few disappointments experienced by Red Dead Redemption 2 fans on launch was the lack of opportunity to visit Mexico, known from the first installment of the game. Even more annoying was the fact that the land can be seen on the horizon, but for trying to get there we will be punished with death.

The biggest enthusiasts have long been exploring new ways to set foot on the forbidden land. Now, in Red Dead Online, the online mode of RDR2, the gamers have managed to deceive the devs and not so much swim as fly to Mexico. But we are not talking about any plane or balloon, it's about a simple... bridge. Specifically, the suspension bridge, which can be found a bit behind the MacFarlane farm.

The glitch is triggered by placing a throwing knife in the bridge planks. The physics of the game goes a bit crazy then and it takes only a step towards the shaking object to send us in a completely random direction many miles away. With a bit of luck we will fly south and land in Mexico. Interestingly, the fall after such trip is not deadly, so we can freely explore the area.

Probably Rockstar will soon fix the bug, so you better hurry if you want to try the bridge glitch.

The locations in inaccessible Mexico are in pretty good condition, although you can see the lack of polish

This is not the first time when Red Dead Redemption 2 players bend the current rules with interesting results. We can recall the technique of "vomit-roping" invented some time ago - avoid falling damage by triggering vomiting animation. In the first installment of the game, where any contact with the water was fatal, the gamers managed to sail away... on a stagecoach.
