Red Dead Redemption 2 "will redefine the gaming industry," Take-Two CEO says
"This game will redefine our industry" – says Strauss Zelnick of Red Dead Redemption 2. The CEO of Take-Two Interactive, who owns Rockstar, believes that GTA creators have developed a gamechanger.
When it comes to Rockstar’s next Wild-West blockbuster, Red Dead Redemption 2, we’ll keep it short – just like Strauss Zelnick did. Here it goes: Red Dead Redemption 2 will be a gamechanger, so expect something even better than GTA V.
Now here are some quotes from Take-Two’s CEO (the important parts are in bold):

- “It will be yet another creative milestone for Rockstar.”
- “It will captivate audiences around the world.”
What exactly Zelnick means by this? We don’t know for sure, but we are guessing that it has something to do with Red Dead Redemption 2 being the best game ever – in this world, in this universe, and in this dimension. Rockstar’s reimagination of the Wild West is the studio’s first title to be developed “from the ground up” for the current console generation. But that’s not what you typically associate with “redefining the industry”. A multiplayer mode is not such a thing, either.
So what exactly makes Red Dead Redemption 2 so special? We’ll have to wait until October 26 to find out. That’s 3 months from now. The game is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
