The lovely pixelart game Replaced has suffered another delay. It will not launch until next year at the earliest.

We have bad news for players waiting for the release of Replaced, a 2.5D action adventure game with stunning pixel art graphics, whose storyline will be set in a retrofuturistic version of 1980s America.

All indications are that the game's release has been pushed back to 2024.
The source is a recent financial report of Thunderful Games, the project's publisher. In the document, Replaced has next year listed as the planned release date.
Recall that Replaced was revealed in 2021 during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.
Originally, the release was planned for 2022, but then the game experienced a series of delays.

The game is heading to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. It will also be simultaneously available on Xbox Game Pass. The PC edition will be available both on Steam and Epic Games Store.

We can only hope that 2024 will be the year when the game finally launches. We don't want Replaced will repeat the fate of The Last Night, another promising pixelart action adventure game in futuristic climates, which was announced almost a decade ago and still hasn't seen the light of day.
