Replaced Trailer from TGA 2022; You Won't Believe It's Pixel Art

The pre-show of The Game Awards 2022 gala culminated with a trailer for a lovely 2.5D platformer. It turned out to be so phenomenal that it may be hard for the games that await us at the main show to top it.

Before The Game Awards 2022 began in earnest, we managed to see trailers of several promising productions. One of them was Replaced - a lovely 2.5D game from Sad Cat Studios, which will take us to a retrofuturistic America of the 1980s.

The trailer, which was shown (below), turned out to be phenomenal. When watching it, at times it's hard to believe that you are looking at a pixel art game. It will be interesting to see if we will see any better-made trailer at the actual TGA 2022.

Unfortunately - although the eyes were given a feast, we didn't actually learn anything new about Replaced. It was only confirmed that the title will be released in 2023 for PC, XOne and XSX/S. The game will also be available on PC/Xbox Game Pass.. However, we reaffirmed our belief that it is worth the wait.
