Respawn is Working on a New Single Player Adventure
Respawn Entertainment is looking for designers to work on a brand new unannounced project. The new game will be a single-player adventure.
Respawn Entertainment was founded in 2010 and since then the developers do not cease to delight both critics and players. The studio can boast such popular productions as the Titanfall series, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order or Apex Legends. Now the creators announced recruitment of new employees who will help create a completely fresh, single-player adventure. The developers are looking for volunteers for the positions of combat and level designers and technical designers.
Job descriptions indicate that the game is in the early stages of development and new hires will have a chance to bring in their own ideas. Respawn describes the project as a dream playground for designers who, thanks to the game's unique universe, will have a lot of freedom in applying innovations.
From the job listings on the studio's website, it appears that the developers are also still looking for employees for another, still unannounced project, simply called "a new game". Apparently this production is further along in development, as the lists of required skills from potential candidates are more detailed.
For now, we have no signs indicating that the creators intend to share any details from their "secret" productions in the near future. What would you like to see the studio release? Are you waiting for a continuation of any of its franchises, or would you prefer something completely new?
