This month, we will witness the addition of Grand Theft Auto 5 to Game Pass, including the PC version of the subscription.
If you are one of those people who haven't yet bought Grand Theft Auto V but have a Game Pass, you will soon be able to play the hit from Rockstar Games as part of this subscription (via @videotechuk, an insider specializing in Rockstar-related topics).
The game will most likely be available on PC in the Enhanced version, which was released at the beginning of this month. It introduced extra content to GTA Online, which was previously only available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, as well as many graphics improvements, including ray tracing.
Unfortunately, this release turned out to be controversial, mainly because of technical issues. This is best illustrated by the fact that on Steam, GTA 5 Enhanced has only 62% positive reviews. Players are still able to download the previous version there (currently known as Grand Theft Auto V Legacy), and we wonder if Game Pass will have a similar option.
This would be very useful because the community on Steam is currently almost equally divided between these two editions. Yesterday's activity record for Enhanced was 88,000 players playing simultaneously, while for Legacy, it was 84,000. That's why users would undoubtedly appreciate the possibility of downloading the old version as part of the subscription.
