Rogue Trader - Keyboard WASD and Mouse Stuttering Fix

WHK40K Rogue Trader is a new turned-based RPG from Owlcat Games, known for Pathfinder series. The title gets very good reviews, but it is not without some flaws. Many players report various issues with the game. Among them, there are some problems connected with keyboards and mouses. They are freezing and stuttering. But not only that, for some players WASD also does not work. We will tell you how to fix those problems.
WASD not working in Rogue Trader
Many players experience problems with WASD. It is not working at all for them. The issue may by quite simple to fix. Some gamers report that the keyboard scrolling speed is automatically set to 0 for them. You can change it in Settings, go to Controls and adjust Screen edge scrolling speed to your preferences.
Mouse and Keyboard Freezing
If the above is not a solution for your problem, there is also another one. If your mouse and keyboard are lagging and freezing in random places, you should remove one tiny file from the game.
Remember that removing files from the game may break something. It is a good idea to copy them and save if something goes wrong.
Players report that removing Rewired_DirectInput.dll resolves all problems with stuttering mouses and keyboards.
- Go to your Steam library.
- Right Click Rogue Trader and pick Manage.
- Now, Browse local files.
- Now go to WH40KRT_Data\Plugins\x86_64\ and delete Rewired_DirectInput.dll
- Remember though, that each update (until the case will be solved officially by developers) will bring the file back and you will have to do the process again.
