Can You Play The Day Before Offline? The Newest Solo Gameplay Information

The Day Before has been in development for several years now, and for a while, the title has been shrouded in intense controversy. Doubts about the originality of the assets used and the suspicions about the marketing campaign have led many to believe The Day Before is not a real project. However, it has finally released on Steam Early Access, and the devs have clarified some important information about the gameplay.

Around 2021, there had been information that the game will have an offline mode. However, according to the latest FAQ posted by the developers, that seems to no longer be the case. The team has announced The Day Before will only have a multiplayer mode. It seems the plan for a solo play option has been cancelled somewhere along the way.

Depending on the density of the population on the servers, it is possible that the players will be able to spend some of their stay in New Fortune City on their lonesome. However, meeting other players will be inevitable.

Keep in mind that The Day Before is still in Early Access and the planned features are subject to change. The developers have not specified how long the Early Access period would last.
