RX 5950 XT, RX 5950, RX 5900 and RX 5800 - New Radeons in EEC Database

The names of several new graphics cards from AMD have appeared in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC) database. These are the Radeon models RX 5950 XT, RX 5950, RX 5900 and RX 5800. The entries most likely concern the so-called „big Navi”, i.e. chipsets prepared for gaming enthusiasts.

Will the new Navi be part of the RX 5000 series?

Names of several new graphics cards from AMD have appeared in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEC) database. We are talking about the Radeons RX 5950 XT, RX 5950, RX 5900 and RX 5800. This suggests that the so-called "big Navi", based on AMD's latest architecture, created with gaming enthusiasts in mind, will be released as part of the RX 5000 line, which until now was not certain (they might as well have been the beginning of a new series).

Interestingly, the entries appeared in the databese thanks to the little-known AFOX company, which currently does not have any model from the RX 5000 series in its catalogue. However, VideoCardz editors point out that this is not the first time that these names have surfaced. As early as June last year, before the launch of Navi, identical products were registered in the EEC by a well-known manufacturer of custom AMD cards, Sapphire.

We still know little about the "big Navi". However, the head of AMD, Dr. Lisa Su, has recently confirmed that the devices has and will have hardware ray tracing support. In the first unofficial benchmark, the GPU performed 17% better than the competitive GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.
