Craftopia is an open-world sandbox game that offers a variety of engaging gameplay features. With its unique blend of crafting, farming, and action elements, players can build their own thriving base, cultivate crops, raise livestock, and explore diverse environments. Craftopia also offers a robust character progression system, where players can unlock new abilities and skills as they advance. Taking into consideration all those features, loss of progress can be problematic. Nevertheless, many people experience various bugs connected to their saves. In this guide we will talk about this issue.

Craftopia – save bug explained

After a new update, many players experience a bug connected to saves. It makes fans reset their progress, letting them only keep items which they have in the inventory. Of course, this state is not ideal and we need to wait for developers to fix it, but it is possible to do something even before that:

  1. Disable all mods – the new update in some cases may be not compatible with all old mods, to make sure that your progress will be saved, disable them, if you have any.
  2. Use manual save – don’t depend solely on auto saves as they may get corrupted. Use manual ones. What is more, after you save, go to the title screen and load the game from there. It is the most certain way for Craftopia to “recognize” your progress.

Remember that the title is in early access. It is still developed and various updates may break some features. You have to be patient.
