SCP: 5K is a tactical first-person shooter horror game inspired by the SCP-5000 canon, authored by Anthony "Tanhony" Shaklady. You can experience a rich semi-linear story as a fireteam opposing the SCP Foundation. Uncover the truth behind an enigmatic Entity that has manipulated humanity throughout eternity. Enjoy immersive combat, detailed weapon customization, and encounter various SCPs. Many people wonder if they will be able to play SCP: 5K on consoles. In our article we will talk about PS4. PS5 and Xbox ports.

SCP 5K - PS5, PS4 and Xbox release

Sadly, the game right now is only available on PC and developers did not share any information regardless the date of potential ports on PS5, PS4 and Xbox. Nevertheless, the topic is considered by creators. We can read on Discord channel a comment left by one of Affray Interactive team members:

Wolf:

I playtest on a controller relatively often, a fair few of us on the team would like it on console one day. no way to tell at the moment if that would be possible, so much more to do than that.

As you can see, console release is possible. Nevertheless, developers have a lot of work to do. Remember that the game is not fully released yet. It started as an early access title. Creators estimate that it will take approximately 30 months since initial release (it means that it should be ready in late 2024/2025). We may assume that version 1.0 is the earliest date of console premiere. As of now, we have to wait for the official information.
