  3. This is to enable the "Super Game" initiative;

Sega and Microsoft have announced that they have entered into a "strategic alliance". This collaboration includes the development of next-gen games based on Microsoft Azure.

According to the announcement published by Sega, collaboration with Microsoft is one of the key elements of the company's long-term strategy. It is supposed to lead to something described as "Super Game". According to the company, this is to be an initiative that will see the creation of titles focused on four elements: global, online, community and IP usage. Using Microsoft Azure is also supposed to optimize the game development process.

Sega explains its decision with dynamic development of 5G networks and cloud-based technologies. Thanks to them players are to have access to titles at virtually any time.

At this point, there are no major details available about the games that will be developed based on the Microsoft Azure technology. It will probably be a long time before we see the effects of this collaboration.
