Server issues and crashes in R6 new season. Operation Prep Phase with problems after Y10S1 maintenance
It seems that not everything works as intended after Y10S1 maintenance. Many players do not enjoy the new season in R6, Operation Prep Phase, because of server problems.
Rainbow Six Siege is a popular title, without a doubt. A large part of its success is due to regular updates and new seasons. One of them, Operation Prep Phase, should be live right now. However, not all players can enjoy it. From all over the world fans report various issues. It seems that servers are not working properly.
Server problems and crashes in R6 new season
It seems that many fans on PC can’t play R6 at this moment due to server issues and crashes. However, don’t worry, as developers are aware of the situation. What is more – they are actively working to fix it. And it seems that the battle is going according to plan.
Developers are quite active on the official X account. Quite quickly after the launch of the new season we had a chance to read information that they are aware of connection problems:
We're seeing reports of some PC players being unable to connect. We are investigating and will have an update on this soon.
Now, it seems that the issue is under control:
UPDATE: PC connections are rising steadily. Thank you for your reports so far. We will provide another update on the status of PC shortly.
Taking into consideration how fast it was for developers to implement fixes, we can hope that everything will be solved soon.
