DESTINY 2 IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Developer: Bungie
  2. Genre: FPS
  3. Platforms: PS4, XONE, PC
  4. Release date: 2017

Last week Bungie announced that during this year's edition of the E3 fair they will show another big addition to Destiny 2, the popular online shooter from 2017. Fans of the game rushed to comb through the files from the latest update of the PC version and discovered there the first information about the expansion.

This way we know that the next addition will be titled Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Its action will take us to the Moon, and the role of enemies will be played by an ancient alien race known as Hive, with which humanity fought a war at the end of the so-called Golden Age. The enemies have already appeared in the game before, but this time we will face their new variants.

This is the end of the information dug up by the fans. However, we will not have to wait long for more details. This is because Bungie is to officially announce the expansion tomorrow at 10 AM PDT.

Destiny 2 was released on September 6, 2017 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and on October 24, 2011 on the PC. So far, three expansion have been released for the game. A few months after the premiere, the Curse of Osiris DLC was released, and last year we received the Warmind and Forsaken expansions.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the next expansion as it will show the direction in which Bungie intends to develop the franchise. In January this year, the studio parted with Activision and took full control of the Destiny series.
