Skyrim Anniversary Edition is Bugged and Bethesda Struggles With Patch

Skyrim Anniversary Edition has a lot of bugs which Bethesda has to fix. The game will soon be patched, which should fix the problems reported by players.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Players have been complaining about numerous bugs in Skyrim Anniversary Edition, including endless loading and stuttering;
  2. Bethesda is working on a patch to remove them. For now (as it usually happens), the modders came to save the day.

Bethesda is working on a patch for Skyrim Anniversary Edition to fix regularly reported issues with the game. Among the obstacles players have encountered are endless loading screens, stuttering, and a 0 KB disk free message that has been nagging PlayStation 4 users.

The company is aware of the presence of these bugs and according to information that appeared on Discord, the devs are already working on a patch to fix them. Fixing reported problems takes longer than the developer would like, so the patch can be expected only early next week.

If you don't want to wait for the official patch, you can reach out for a helping hand from modders. Namely, they created a mod that enables us to restore Skyrim AE to earlier version (Special Edition). What's more, they are also working on EngineFixesSkyrim64 (a plugin that fixes numerous bugs present in the game) for this year's edition of Skyrim.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition debuted on November 10. You can play it on PS4, PS5, XONE, XSX and PC.
