This Mod Takes Skyrim Forests to a Whole New Level

One player decided to significantly beautify the trees, grass and other vegetation in Skyrim. The effect of his modifications is truly impressive.

A modder by the handle fxckthisworld decided to refresh the aged Skyrim with the help of a mod that beautifies the wooded regions of the Nord lands. Thanks to his efforts, the trees, grass and other vegetation have gained a lot of detail, which has given the old game a new charm.

It's more beautiful, but it won't burn our PC

Currently, the mod rebuilds forests in Riften, Falkreath and Riverwood regions, but the creator announces that in the future changes will also include other areas of the game world. As we can see on the above video, the flora is much more dense, diverse and full of detail, compared to the original. All this thanks to better textures and richer polygonal models.

"Forests in vanilla Skyrim look boring and unfortunately I haven't come across any mod that does what I want to see. That's why I decided to remake this feature myself to make the forests more diverse and beautiful. (...) The density of vegetation has increased more than five times," wrote the mod's creator.

The good news is also a reasonable optimization, which will not toast our computer. The developer decided to find a good balance between performance and appearance. If you are interested in the mod, you can download it from NexusMods. On the website there is a manual with requirements, which may prove helpful when trying to run the mod.
