Sony May be Gearing Up for Another Game Show; PSX Brand Registered
Sony has registered the PSX brand in the game show and online event categories. Could it be that another PlayStation Experience event is coming?

- It applies to broadly understood gaming events and shows.
Sony has applied for registration of the PSX brand in the US patent office. There would be nothing surprising in this, if not for the category that talks about the organization of events and shows on the Internet, connection with services, and presentation of live games.
For this reason, some websites suspect that we are dealing with an upcoming Sony event, PlayStation Experience, where the Japanese company could present new titles coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Such conclusions are not entirely unfounded. A few years ago, the event was held periodically in the US and it showcased new titles that were coming to the PS4.
Rumors from a week ago talk about a show scheduled for July 8 (allegedly we're supposed to see a trailer for Grand Theft Auto V on PS5 there). Although in this case, I would approach them with great caution, even in view of the information that Sony has filed an application registering the PSX brand in the category of gaming events. Long ago, the Japanese corporation bet on a more modest format - State of Play - and it seems that it will not give it up soon.
