Sovereign Syndicate Release Date and Atmospheric Trailer
We learned the release date of Sovereign Syndicate, an atmospheric RPG inspired by Disco Elysium, Arcanum and other iconic representatives of the genre. In addition, we can watch an atmospheric trailer.
Crimson Herring Studios has released a new atmospheric trailer for Sovereign Syndicate, a steampunk RPG reminiscent of such items as Disco Elysium or the iconic Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. In addition, the devs shared the release date of their work. Sovereign Syndicate will be available on personal computers on January 15, 2024.
- Sovereign Syndicate moves the action to an alternative, steampunk version of London from the Victorian era. In the course of the game, we will play as one of three characters whose fates, shaped by our choices, will be intertwined with each other.
- Atticus Daley is a Minotaur with magical abilities, struggling with alcoholism and searching for his place in the world. Clara Reed is a pirate who pursues a murderer of courtesans. Otto, on the other hand, a machine created by engineer Theodore Redgrave, wants more from life than to be a servile tool.
- In Sovereign Syndicate the action will be followed in an isometric view. The game will put at our disposal a vast world, consisting of twenty different locations.
- While traversing the dark streets and buildings of steampunk London, we will perform a variety of main and side quests, solving the problems we encounter in a variety of ways - from persuasion to combat.
- Conversations and interactions with NPCs will be influenced not only by the dialogues, but also by the gender and appearance of our character. In addition, in the course of them we will use the unique abilities of our hero, with success in skill checks depending on the tarot cards we draw and not virtual dice rolls.
- Each character will receive a unique set of abilities. We will develop skills by using them, while those not used will begin to degrade over time. In addition, we will be able to strengthen our character's abilities by equipping them with better gear.
