Space Engineers will receive Planets update this Thursday

Space Engineers is getting Planets update this week. With that players will be able to land on planets surface and build their own structures in new types of environment.

Space Engineers is going to receive a big content update this week, more specifically on Thursday, November 12. At this date the space sandbox by Keen Software House will be expanded with “fully destructible, volumetric and persistent” planets, according to the description of the latest free-fall video posted on YouTube (embedded above). This is a major step forward in Space Engineers development – players have been building their own stations and other structures in space for some time now, but soon they will be able to visit brand new environments and let their imagination run wild again.

Space Engineers debuted in Steam Early Access in October 2013, and still remains in development. Since then, the game was bought by 1.6 million people, 600 thousand during the last 12 months. The current version of Space Engineers is available on Steam for $24.99. See some early screenshots with planets below:
