In Cities Skylines 2 there are four types of zones. All of them allows you to develop your city and earn tax revenue. The most characteristic one is Specialized Industry. Specialized industry is a special zone where you can extract and produce natural resources. To make it work, you have to build a structure on the proper deposits. When you choose the specialized industry you want to build, the game will show you the available places. The exceptions are Livestock Farming and Stone Mining, which you can place anywhere.

There is a bug in Cities Skylines 2 that causes Specialized Industry to be unable to access the road. To solve the issue you have to bulldoze the building and place it again.
