Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Now on PS5 and XSX/S

An enhanced version of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S is now available. All owners of last-gen versions (which run on current-gen thanks to backward compatibility) can download the free update.

IN A NUTSHELL
  1. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received an enhanced version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S;
  2. It improves, among other things, textures and models;
  3. Those who own the title on last-gen platforms can count on a free upgrade.

At the end of April, this year we received official confirmation that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will join the ranks of games that will receive enhanced versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It was reported at the time that these would be released in the summer, but no details on when it would. However, it looks like the wait for these editions ended today. This is because they have been made available via PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. Thus confirmed the rumors that have been circulating the web in recent days.

Next-gen versions of Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order can of course be purchased separately. However, if you already own a copy of the title on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, then you can count on a free upgrade for next-gen platforms (assuming you have them in your home or apartment). This applies to both digital and boxed versions (in the latter case, if you have a PlayStation 5 without a drive or Xbox S Series, you must contact EA support and show proof of purchase). All additional details can be found here.

According to official information, Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order editions prepared for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S can boast improved textures and models, much faster loading times, and support for 4K resolution. However, if you opt for the latter, you have to reckon with the fact that the game will run at 30 fps. However, there is an option to switch to 1440p and enjoy 60 fps.

According to the PlayStation Game Size account on Twitter, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for PlayStation 5 weighs in at 53.823 GB. That's about 8 GB more than the release for PlayStation 4.

Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order, in addition to Sony and Microsoft consoles, is also available on PC.
