StarCraft II: Nova Covert Ops is out now – play the first three missions

The first three missions of the single player Star Craft II: Nova Covert Ops campaign have gone live. Along with the standalone expansion pack comes patch 3.2 to StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void.

The first Star Craft II: Nova Covert Ops mission pack is already available. The whole bundle of three packs can be purchased on Battle.net for $14.99, whereas separately they cost $7.49 each. Note that Star Craft II: Nova Covert Ops does not require any of the original StarCraft II trilogy games; you just need the free Starter Edition. Also, Blizzard Entertainment has released a new story trailer of the single player expansion to their overwhelimgly popular sci-fi RTS.

Nova Covert Ops campaign focuses on Ghosts – psionic special agents of the Dominion. The main protagonist is Nova Terra, the Ghosts’ deadliest operative, who has to run a series of dangerous missions in order to save the Terran Dominion from impeding Zerg invasion and the forming conspiracy against Emperor Valerian. But first, she has to escape from an unknown military facility, in which she wakes up.

The other two packs – making up 9 missions in total – should arrive no later than on December 1, 2016. We should also mention the release of patch 3.2 to StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void. The update brings multiple bug fixes and balance tweaks – read the full patch notes here.
