Starfield is the newest Bethesda Game Studios production. The title is highly prised by fans and reviewers. Hundreds of thousands of people have bought Premium Edition and even more Standard version. It allows you to roam the space and visit various planets. One question rises among fans from time to time though – is it possible to EVA in the game? We will answer this is this article.

What EVA is

EVA is an abbreviation of extravehicular activities. It means every action of the astronaut outside of a spaceship/space station in space. If you put on your spacesuit and go outside, you do EVA.

Taking into consideration the fact that Starfield is about space travels and discovering different planets, it is quite normal to ask if it is possible to walk outside of your vessels.

Is there EVA in Starfield

Sadly, no. Starfield does not offer such function. During space travels the hatch is inactive. You can board other ships; however, it is done automatically. It is enough to come close enough and press one button to change vessels.

While it may not be a satisfactory answer for space enthusiasts, there is a chance that in the future there will be a mod which will enable such travels.
