Street Fighter 6 is coming to PC and consoles on June 2nd. Critics are already praising the newest instalment in the classic fighting game series, which promises difficulty for the old players and more approachable control types for beginners. It will also feature the return of iconic characters and an interesting story as well as three distinct game modes. No matter if you’re a long time fan or if SF6 will be your first experience with Street Fighter, you may be wondering which version of the game to get. If you’re on the fence about picking between Deluxe and Ultimate editions of SF6, compare the differences below.

Street Fighter 6 (SF6) - Deluxe vs Ultimate Edition

The fans who purchase the Deluxe edition will unlock the Year 1 Character Pass, while those who buy the Ultimate version will get the Year 1 Ultimate Pass. What does that mean, exactly?

As the name suggests, the Ultimate edition of Street Fighter 6 contains the most bonuses for players. However, some gifts are shared between the Deluxe and Ultimate versions. Fans who purchase either of them will get the full game and the following:

  1. 4 additional characters,
  2. 4 additional characters' colors: Outfit 1 colors 3-10.

However, there are some extras only available with the Ultimate edition. Those are:

  1. 4 additional characters' costume: Outfit 2 colors 1-10,
  2. 4 additional characters' costume: Outfit 3 colors 1-10,
  3. 2 additional stages.

What is more, both versions are eligible for a Purchase bonus, but in case of the Deluxe edition it will be 4,200 Drive Tickets, while the Ultimate players will receive 7,700 Drive Tickets.

Finally, there is an important difference between the two editions: the Ultimate will only be available digitally. What follows, collectors of physical editions may be inclined to pick Deluxe.

If you aren’t interested in the boxes, keep in mind that the 2 extra stages are the only bonus to the Ultimate edition that affects gameplay; the rest are cosmetics.
