Terraria Sold 35 Million Copies

Terraria is a game that used to be quite a phenomenon. Released 10 years ago, the platformer was so popular that the last update adding new content appeared as late as the end of last year. Now, another big achievement has appeared on its account. The game has sold 35 million copies.
This impressive result was announced by the developers on Terraria's official forum. Analyzing the number of sold copies, we can see that the title is most popular among PC players. The PC version sold as many as 17.2 million copies. The console edition sold 8.5 million copies and the mobile edition 9.3 million. Together, this generates a result that puts Terraria on the spot of 14th best-selling game of all time.
The developers also noted that their game ranked 1 among the best rated games on Steam. Terraria thus dethroned Valve's Portal 2. It's also worth mentioning that the creators are still working on a port of the game to Google Stadia. So the story of the sandbox game from Re-Logic is not over yet.
