Amazon May be Considering The Boys Video Game

The official Twitter account of The Boys has asked fans for ideas for a video game based on the series. This suggests that Amazon may be considering developing such a production.

In a short time The Boys series became one of the most important IPs for Amazon. Therefore, it is not a special surprise that there are ideas to develop a video game set in this universe.

The topic surfaced thanks to Jack Quaid, the actor who plays Hughie in the series. He is a dedicated gamer and shared his thoughts on a possible interactive adaptation. He thinks that both a game that would let us take on the roles of superheroes like Homelander or A-Train and a tactical shooter that lets us take on the hero-hunting Boys would be good idea for a video game.

All of this can only be treated as the actor's musings, but what adds spice to the matter is the fact that recently the official Twitter account of the series posted what follows:

The publication of such a message suggests that Amazon is at least considering an interactive adaptation of the brand. The company has been investing heavily in video games for some time now (New World promises to be one of the most talked-about MMORPGs of the year), so it would be surprising if Amazon didn't think about how to capitalize on the popularity of The Boys in other media.

Gamers have shared their ideas for the game on Twitter. Some would like to see an open-world title, while others would love to see a brutal fighting game. There are suggestions of an MMORPG title in the vein of City of Heroes and an adventure game.

If Amazon decides to develop such a game, we will have to wait a long time for it. For now, fans can look forward to the premiere of the third season of the show, which is scheduled for later this year.
