Naughty Dog has finally unveiled the first official gameplay video, showing several minutes of footage from The Last of Us: Part I. It is admittedly not as long as gameplays from unofficial sources, but better late than never.
Warning, news contains potential spoilers from The Last of Us.
The premiere of The Last of Us: Part I on PS5 is just around the corner - it's due the day after tomorrow, September 2. Developers from Naughty Dog remind us about it through a seven-minute-long gameplay video. Until now, we had to settle for unofficial footage; the developers themselves presented rather short, edited fragments. Will this new video convince you to spend more than $70 on a remake?
The video shows Joel, Ellie and Bill making their way through a town providing home to the latter. The gameplay shows mainly combat, but also a couple of cutscenes. At the end, a duel with a menacing bloater takes place in a gymnasium, all with beautiful graphic effects (the game of lights does its job).
If that's not enough TLoU: Part I for you, below you can check out other materials showing the game.
The Last of Us: Part I is being developed mainly with PS5's capabilities in mind, but eventually it is also expected to come out on PC. However, we do not know how long we will have to wait for this port.
